Our Own Sri Swamiji

Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji is a rare Yogi – one who has embodied a new yet ancient path, paving the way for countless others to achieve peace of mind through yoga.

His Holiness is our divine guide who promotes the ancient Vedic traditions. Parama Pujya Sri Swamiji’s universal vision and deep compassion for the upliftment of the mankind has inspired the Peetham to run a vast variety of programs, activities and projects towards enrichment of human life.

Parama Pujya Sri Ganapathy Sacchidananda Swamiji first visited Chicago in 1990 and has taken the time to bless His devotees in this area several times since then. He has blessed Chicagoland area devotees to conduct the auspicious Guru Purnima celebrations in Chicago three times (twice in the early 2000s, and again in 2013). Sri Swamiji has continually shown a passion and commitment to His devotees in this area. During his visits, Sri Swamiji, has conducted many Concerts for Healing and Meditation. Notably, held these concerts twice at the famous Chicago Symphony Orchestra Hall in downtown Chicago. Most recently, in 2019, Sri Swamiji conducted a concert at the Copernicus Center. In these concerts, revered musicians such as Dr. L. Subramanian, Yella Venkateswara Rao, Dr. N. Ramani, Suresh Vaidyanathan, and Pt. Vishwa Mohan Bhatt accompanied Sri Swamiji. Under Sri Swamiji’s guidance, the Chicago group, also started Bala Datta classes to teach children and adults; bhajans, shlokas, Bhagavad Gita, and stories of Hinduism. Over the past seven years, we have enrolled 125+ students in Bala Datta and have had 80+ students memorize the Bhagavad Gita in its entirety through these programs. After many years of Chicago devotees requesting Sri Swamiji to grant a cultural center in Chicago, Sri Swamiji finally blessed us with the opportunity to open the Trinity Datta Yoga Center. This center, located in Carpentersville, IL, was inaugurated in August of 2020. Sri Swamiji felt that the center has powerful musical vibrations after visiting last year. He has instructed that the Chicago center focuses on three pillars: Vedanta, Nada, and Yoga. Chicago devotees have set-up many classes and opportunities to give Seva at the center to enact this vision.Trinity DYC was established by His Holiness Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji to foster unity, peace, and spiritual/religious fulfillment of Humanity through ancient teachings. The teachings of Sri Swamiji are simple, yet such teachings have helped numerous individuals to experience the true meaning of life. Sri Swamiji uses Celestial Music (singing and repetition of the name of the Lord) to heal those individuals who are seeking His Grace. Sri Swamiji’s mission is to spread the brotherhood of love and offer services to Humanity and all life forms. It is our pleasure to invite you to join our center.
